Mercer County Surgery Center surgeons complete 100th TJR: 5 highlights

In July, Lawrenceville, N.J.-based Mercer County Surgery Center celebrated the completion of the center's 100th total joint replacement.

Here are five highlights:


1. Mercer County Surgery Center represents the first ambulatory surgery center to provide outpatient total joint replacements in central and southern New Jersey.


2. Hamilton, N.J.-based Mercer-Bucks Orthopaedics teams up with the surgery center to offer outpatient hip, knee, ankle and shoulder replacement surgery.


3. In 2017, Mercer County Surgery Center also unveiled its outpatient spine surgery program.


4. The surgery center houses two operating suites and one procedure room.


5. Mercer County Surgery Center physicians provide orthopedic, podiatric and spine surgery as well as pain management and gastroenterology.
