The House passed the revised Republican healthcare bill on May 4, according to abc news.

Here are four notes:

1. The bill just made it on to the Senate with a 217 to 213 House vote.

2. No Democrats voted in favor of the legislation.

3. American Medical Association President Andrew W. Gurman, MD, commented, "The bill passed by the House today will result in millions of Americans losing access to quality, affordable health insurance and those with pre-existing health conditions face the possibility of going back to the time when insurers could charge them premiums that made access to coverage out of the question," in a statement.

4. Dr. Gurman urged the Senate to collaborate with physician and patient groups to create bipartisan solutions benefiting all American families.
