Laguna Woods, Calif.-based South County Orthopedics Specialists installed Toshiba Medical's Vantage Elan 1.5 MR System.
Here are four things to know:
1. The Vantage Elan 1.5T only requires 23 square meters and doesn't require construction or space adjustments during installation.
2. Performing the knee image only takes 15 minutes with the Vantage Elan 1.5T, whereas the exam takes 45 minutes with other devices.
3. The system is easy to set up and offers patients added comfort while reducing noise and simplifying exams.
4. Originally unveiled in 2014, the system was introduced at the Radiological Society of North America in November 2014.
