ProMedica, a Toledo, Ohio-based nonprofit healthcare system, introduced a new 24-hour online service, according to Lenconnect.com.
Here are four highlights:
1. Patients may now visit with providers from their phone, tablet or computer via ProMedica OnDemand.
2. Ohio and Michigan patients may utilize the service for non-emergency issues.
3. An online visit will charge a patient $49 or less, depending on coverage.
4. All providers are board certified, licensed and credentialed.
