PeerWell rolls out smartphone platform for postoperative joint replacement care: 4 highlights

San Francisco-based PeerWell, a healthcare technology company, has launched its mobile ReHab platform.

Here's what you need to know:


1. The ReHab platform is an extension of PeerWell's mobile PreHab technology, which helps patients prepare for surgery.


2. The ReHab platform helps patients through postoperative recovery through education on pain management, nutrition and safety. Users will also be able to track their progress physical therapy exercises, which will provide insight into postoperative range of motion.


3. This rehabilitation solution will first roll out for joint replacement patients who underwent surgery related to their hip or knee.


4. For the development of the ReHab platform, PeerWell collaborated with retired NFL running back Arian Foster and Detroit Lions pro-bowl safety Glover Quin.
