Cedars-Sinai, Techstars Healthcare Accelerator enroll 11 startups in new class: 4 notes

Los Angeles-based Cedars-Sinai is partnering with Techstars Healthcare Accelerator to advance healthcare delivery.

Here are four notes:


1. The collaboration involves 11 healthcare startups participating in a three-month accelerator.


2. Cedars-Sinai physicians, nurses and executives as well as Techstars' investors and entrepreneurs will offer mentorship and advice during the class.


3. The various startups offer mobile health solutions, new devices and disruptive services, among other products.


4. Here are the 11 participating companies:


  • Applied VR
  • HomeHero
  • Stasis Labs
  • Ella
  • Grace
  • Deep 6 Analytics
  • Silversheet
  • Inscope Medical
  • WELL Health
  • ZendyHealth 
  • Yosko


"All of the companies participating in the accelerator are pushing the envelope to transform the healthcare delivery system," said Darren Dworkin, chief information officer, Cedars-Sinai.
