Aurora, Ill.-based Rush-Copley Medical Center selected Merge Healthcare, a provider of clinical systems and healthcare innovations, to provide the hospital with Merge PACS, iConnect Access and IConnect Enterprise Archive.

Here are four notes:

1. With the use of Merge PACs and iConnect solution, Rush-Copley can readily access a consolidated view of a patient’s health record and minimize the amount of duplicate tests ordered.

2. The hospital selected Merge Healthcare to support their move to Stage 2 of Meaningful Use.

3.  Rush-Copley Medical Center has 210 beds and approximately 500 physicians and 2,000 clinical and professional staff members.

4. Merge Healthcare aims to improve the quality of healthcare though its cloud-based technologies for image intensive specialties.
