3 Marketing, Promotion Tips For Spine Centers

At the 12th Annual Spine, Orthopedic and Pain Management-Driven Conference in Chicago on June 13, Bob Reznik, MBA, president of Prizm Development provided three key tips on spine center promotion and marketing.

1. It is important to educate the consumer. "Anyone who does spine needs to communicate directly with consumers about their services," said Mr. Reznik. Prizm can help spine centers do this by providing consumers updates on treatment options offered as well as other valuable information about a spine center.

At Prizm, we seek to inform the consumer so "they make the best choice" when it comes to spine centers, he said.

2. Send the right message. Prizm distributes patient success stories to consumers that "validate the quality and demonstrate capabilities of the spine center," he said. Prizm also uses customer testimonials to "lend legitimacy to the message."

3. Have a presence on the Internet. Mr. Reznik said spine centers need to provide information on the Internet that makes them appear at the top of a list when customers are searching for the types of services the spine center offers. "Prizm uses content-rich information to establish a spine center," and increase its Internet presence, he said.
