IMAC launches telehealth strategy for ‘shelter in place’ patients

IMAC Holdings implemented a telehealth initiative March 24 for active care patients to maintain communication with healthcare professionals during the “shelter in place” status.

Patients using the telehealth program enter an email address and receive an invitation to connect directly with their provider.

The system can be accessed on any internet-connected device, including iPhone, iPadOS, Android, Mac and Windows.

The program comes after the Trump Administration’s March 13 declaration to expand Medicare coverage for telemedicine.
