Four things to know:

1. First quarter revenue in 2022 was $3.9 million, an increase of 28 percent year-over-year.

2. Patient visits at IMAC clinics were up 3.7 percent year-over-year.

3. IMAC Holding’s spine retail company, the Back Space, completed its Walmart pilot program and committed to at least 20 new locations over the next year.

4. “We are encouraged by the consumer adoption of the Back Space spinal health and wellness services,” CEO Jeffrey Ervin said in a news release. “One of the clinics achieved operating break-even eight weeks after opening. Recruiting quality teammates will continue to drive success with this operating model, and the model’s limited overhead allows us to compensate competitively in the marketplace.”

At the Becker’s 32nd Annual Meeting: The Business and Operations of ASCs, taking place October 29-31 in Chicago, ASC leaders, surgeons and healthcare executives will explore strategies to drive growth, enhance operational performance, navigate reimbursement challenges and prepare for the future of ambulatory surgery.
