Illinois group breaks ground on $15.5M orthopedic surgery center

Bradley, Ill.-based Oak Orthopedics broke ground Oct. 27 on a $15.5 million surgery center in Bourbonnais, Ill., according to the Daily Journal.

The 43,700-square-foot facility will feature a medical clinic, radiology suite and an ASC.

Three operating rooms will be built to accommodate outpatient total joint replacement procedures.

The surgery center is set for completion in January 2022.

Oak Orthopedics is a 13-physician group  acquired by Des Plaines-based Illinois Bone & Joint Institute in March.
