The express clinic will be led by Taylor Menard, PA, and will begin seeing patients on Jan. 14. It will offer care for acute orthopedic issues, such as bone, joint, or muscle injuries, as well as strains, sprains, fractures, swollen joints, sports injuries and dislocations.
Ms. Menard formerly held roles with the Alaska Native Tribal Health Consortium, Alaska Native Medical Center and the Medical College of Wisconsin.
She is focused on patient education and advocacy and ensuring individuals understand their diagnoses and treatment options, according to the report.
