Novant Health consolidates orthopedics to serve North Carolina residents: 4 takeaways

Winston-Salem, N.C.-based Novant Health Orthopedics & Sports Medicine merged two of its offices in Thomasville, N.C., thereby consolidating the orthopedic services into one location, according to The-Dispatch.com.

Here are four takeaways:

 

1. Through the merger, Novant Health hopes to avoid patient confusion as many patients mixed up the two offices.

 

2. The renovated office is equipped with two X-ray machines, 14 exam rooms and one procedure room.

 

3. In the new office, seven providers will see patients, including a hand surgery specialist.

 

4. The facility began construction in January, with providers fully able to maintain patient services throughout the construction process.
