HSS to open its 1st orthopedic clinic in Florida in January

New York City-based Hospital for Special Surgery is opening its first Florida orthopedic clinic in West Palm Beach in late January, The Palm Beach Post reports.

The 60,000-square-foot facility will open with between 30 to 50 staff, including radiologists and physical therapists.

The clinic will feature five full-time and three part-time physicians, and add more as services grow.

Outpatient procedures such as hip and knee replacements as well as nonsurgical spine care will be provided at the center.

HSS’ Florida expansion comes after New York City-based NYU Langone and Mount Sinai Hospital of New York recently opened medical offices in West Palm Beach.
