How Satisfied are Medical Practices With Their Vendors? 5 Statistics

Most medical practices are satisfied with their electronic health record vendors, according to Physician Practices’ 2014 Technology Survey, sponsored by Kareo.

The survey includes a total of 1,442 respondents.

 
When asked how satisfied they are with their vendors, respondents reported:

 

•    Satisfied, I would recommend them, but I’m sure other vendors are just as good — 40.2 percent
•    In the middle, our vendor is mediocre; I probably wouldn’t recommend them but I’m not ready to give up on them, either — 29 percent
•    Very satisfied, I would recommend them highly — 16.7 percent
•    Dissatisfied, I wouldn’t recommend them and wish I hadn’t used them, but I’m hopeful things can get better — 8.6 percent
•    Very dissatisfied, I wouldn’t recommend this vendor and would switch to another vendor if I could — 5.5 percent
