Hospital for Special Surgery opens outpatient center in New York City

New York City-based Hospital for Special Surgery opened an outpatient facility in Hudson Yards June 1.

Three things to know:

1. The facility will be staffed by physicians and surgeons specializing in spine, total joint replacement, as well as hands and upper extremities.

2. The 15,000-square-foot facility is the hospital’s 10th location in the state, according to its website. The center will offer physician visits, X-ray imaging and rehabilitation services.

3. As the number of COVID-19 cases continues to decline in New York, the hospital is gradually expanding treatment at its main campus and outpatient facilities.
