New York City-based Hospital for Special Surgery has officially opened the doors at its new HSS at NCH facility in Naples, Fla.
The inpatient and outpatient musculoskeletal care center is a partnership between HSS and Naples-based NCH. Ground was broken on the facility at the end of 2023.
The $130 million, 80,000-square-foot facility houses a 20,000-square foot ASC, pre- and post-operative care, imaging areas and suites and 15 private inpatient overnight rooms, while the ASC is equipped with five operating rooms, according to a June 9 news release sent to Becker’s.
The facility will have 11 physicians, specializing in sports medicine, joint replacements, orthopedic trauma, spine care, foot and ankle surgery, and hand, wrist and elbow surgery, as well as eight advanced practice practitioners.
At the Becker’s 32nd Annual Meeting: The Business and Operations of ASCs, taking place October 29-31 in Chicago, ASC leaders, surgeons and healthcare executives will explore strategies to drive growth, enhance operational performance, navigate reimbursement challenges and prepare for the future of ambulatory surgery.
