HSS decided to expand due to patient demand, and chose Florida because several patients currently travel from the state to New York for specialty care at HSS. The new facility will provide patients who live in Florida with a facility for their outpatient rehabilitation.
HSS Sport & Spine will specialize in non-operative and post-surgical care, and will include specialists in spine, orthopedics, sports rehabilitation, message therapy and performance training. Michael L. Reed, DPT, MSc, OCS, MTC, will be the director of HSS Sport & Spine.
