Swift Institute is the product of a merger between Reno-based Spin Nevada and Carson City, Nev.-based Tahoe Fracture & Orthopedic Medical Clinic, according to an Oct. 4 news release. The organizations partnered with Healthcare Outcomes Performance Co. to deliver care throughout the state.
Along with the name change, Swift Institute adopted Athena, an electronic medical record system, across its locations.
Swift Institute has more than 70 specialists and 21 locations across Nevada.
