Here are five quick facts:
1. Between the two facilities, Hattiesburg executives estimate the project will cost $30 million. The facilities are slated to open in 2019.
2. The first 27,221-square-foot building will house the clinic’s orthopedics and sports medicine facility. It will include 14 orthopedic providers, a physical therapy suite, community conference center and imaging suite.
3. Hattiesburg orthopedic, sports medicine and physical therapy services are all located at different facilities throughout the area. The new building will allow the group to consolidate all services into one.
4. Of the 14 providers to be staffed, 10 will relocate to the new building and four will be added in the sports medicine department.
5. The second 20,190-square-foot building will house Hattiesburg’s connections as well as psychology and counseling departments.
