Connecticut-based Hartford HealthCare has opened its Bone & Joint Institute, according to Hartford Business.

1. The hospital, which cost $150 million, is 130,000 square feet.

 

2. The hospital has 48 private rooms, eight operating rooms and an outpatient rehabilitation area; this building is connected to a 75,000-square-foot ASC.

 

3. The Bone & Joint Institute includes equipment to help athletes safely train after surgery, in an effort to enhance postoperative rehabilitation.
