Dr. Barmakian previously practiced with the Orthopaedic Hand and Upper Extremity Center in Westfield and Metuchen, N.J. He is a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons and American Society for Surgery of the Hand.
Dr. Barmakian earned his medical degree at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey-Rutgers Medical School in New Brunswick and completed his residency in orthopedic surgery at the New York Orthopaedic Hospital/Columbia Presbyterian Medical Center in New York City. His additional training includes a hand surgery fellowship at the NYU Langone Medical Center in New York City.
