Growth Orthopedics named John Day as chief growth officer, according to a May 11 LinkedIn post.
Mr. Day was most recently CEO of Unity Physicians Hospital. His other past experience includes CEO at Rehabilitation Hospital of Northern Indiana, Unity Medical & Surgical Hospital and Physicians Hospital System.
“This opportunity is a natural next step and aligns with where I believe healthcare is headed, private equity partnering with physician groups and ASCs to deliver patient focused care and high quality outcomes in a more efficient, collaborative model,” Mr. Day said in a May 3 post. “Growth Orthopedics has built a strong and scalable platform, and I’m energized by the opportunity to work alongside its leadership and teams to accelerate growth, strengthen partnerships, and continue evolving the model in meaningful ways. I’m especially looking forward to getting to know the people across the organization and rolling up my sleeves with them to build on what’s already working.”
At the Becker’s 32nd Annual Meeting: The Business and Operations of ASCs, taking place October 29-31 in Chicago, ASC leaders, surgeons and healthcare executives will explore strategies to drive growth, enhance operational performance, navigate reimbursement challenges and prepare for the future of ambulatory surgery.
