Orthopaedic Associates of Maine has 14 physicians and 175 support staff. Its affiliated ASC is also included in the rebrand. With Growth Ortho, the practice will remain independent while benefitting from the MSO’s resources.

“This decision marks a pivotal moment for our physicians and patients alike, as it reflects our commitment to providing personalized, high-quality orthopedic care in our community,” Kathryn Hanna, MD, managing partner of Orthopaedic Associates of Maine, said in the release. “By partnering with Growth Orthopedics, who is specifically focused on orthopedic practice, we can enhance our ability to grow, innovate, and provide the best possible outcomes for our patients.”

Growth Orthopedics has three other partners, according to its website.

At the Becker’s 32nd Annual Meeting: The Business and Operations of ASCs, taking place October 29-31 in Chicago, ASC leaders, surgeons and healthcare executives will explore strategies to drive growth, enhance operational performance, navigate reimbursement challenges and prepare for the future of ambulatory surgery.
