Here are three things to know:
1. Dr. Weiss served as the hospital’s medical staff president for the past four years. She also has experience as a former Indiana Orthopaedic Society president.
2. While taking on this new role, Dr. Weiss will continue practicing as an orthopedic surgeon.
3. After earning her medical degree from Indiana University School of Medicine in Indianapolis, Dr. Weiss completed an arthroscopic fellowship at the Orthopaedic Center of Southern Illinois in Mount Vernon.
