Geisinger, St. Luke’s open $72M co-owned hospital featuring orthopedics

Geisinger St. Luke’s Hospital in Orwigsburg, Pa., opened on Nov. 20, reports NorthcentralPA.com.

The 130,000-square-foot facility is co-owned by Fountain Hill, Pa.-based St. Luke’s University Health Network and Danville, Pa.-based Geisinger.

It provides orthopedic surgery at two surgical bays with plans to expand to four.

More than 250 employees have been hired with recruiting for some positions ongoing.
