Front Range Orthopedics & Spine plans partnership with Orthopaedic & Spine Center of the Rockies: 5 things to know

Two Colorado-based orthopedic and spine centers plan to partner as a longtime executive announced his exit, according to the Greeley Tribune.

Here are five things to know:

1. Fort Collins, Colo.-based Orthopaedic & Spine Center of the Rockies entered into a partnership with Longmont, Colo.-based Front Range Orthopedics & Spine to integrate their clinics and share best practices. The two entities will also share clinical research, pathways and outcomes.

2. The partnership comes as Front Range’s CEO and CFO, David Demchuk, who has spent more than 20 years with the group, announced plans to retire at the end of the year.

3. Orthopaedic & Spine Center of the Rockies was originally founded in 1969 and has grown to include 29 physicians. Front Range has 10 physicians. The combined group plans to develop a corporate strategic partnership to lower healthcare costs and provide high-quality outcomes.

4. The CEO of Orthopaedic & Spine Center of the Rockies will lead the Colorado-based combined medical group, which will include locations in Greeley, Loveland, Fort Collins, Longmont, Frederick, Lafayette and Westminster.

5. The orthopedic groups include sports medicine, spine and total joint replacement services as well as ASCs.
