Froedtert & Medical College of Wisconsin developing new facility for spine, orthopedics: 5 things to know

Milwaukee-based Froedtert and Medical College of Wisconsin announced construction on a new West Bend (Wis.) Health Center is set to begin later this year.

Here are five things to know:

 

1. The current building will remain open while the new facility is under construction. Froedtert expects the building to be open in early 2020.

 

2. The three-story, 100,000 square foot building will be home to an Orthopaedic Sports and Spine Center, including OrthoNow, a walk-in orthopedic clinic.

 

3. Additional services include pain management, pediatrics, endocrinology and ophthalmology.

 

4. Neurology services at the currently West Bend (Wis.) Health Center will move to Froedtert St. Joseph’s Hospital in West Bend.

 

5. Froedtert also plans to move its new West Bend ASC to Froedtert St. Joseph’s Hospital as well.
