Foundation Health Partners to open spine, orthopedic clinic

Foundation Health Partners in Fairbanks, Alaska, will open the FHP Orthopedic & Spine Specialists Nov. 1.

Stewart Kerr, MD, will join Foundation Health Partners and lead the clinic, according to an Oct. 25 news release. The clinic will offer surgical and nonsurgical spine and orthopedic care.

Before medical school Dr. Kerr was an active-duty Navy SEAL and paramedic, and he later became a team surgeon for miltary units. He earned his medical degree from the Uniformed Services University, Bethesda, Md. and completed his residency at Naval Medical Center San Diego.
