The Boca Center for Orthopedics and Spine Care will have eight patient rooms, inpatient rehabilitation and outpatient physical therapy, according to a Feb. 8 news release. The center aims to help patients transition from surgery to recovery easily.

“The investment in this center will truly make a difference in a patient’s clinical outcome and recovery time which will only enhance the offerings here at West Boca Medical Center,” Ashish Sahai, MD, the hospital’s chief of surgery, said in the news release. “A key part of this program will be the continuum of care a patient receives from our team from the moment they walk through our doors to the time they are able to be discharged home, we will monitor them every step of the way.”

At the Becker’s 32nd Annual Meeting: The Business and Operations of ASCs, taking place October 29-31 in Chicago, ASC leaders, surgeons and healthcare executives will explore strategies to drive growth, enhance operational performance, navigate reimbursement challenges and prepare for the future of ambulatory surgery.
