Fairfield Medical Center in Ohio Opens New Orthopedic Unit

Fairfield Medical Center in Lancaster, Ohio, recently opened a new orthopedic unit designed for a better patient experience, according to Zanesville Times Recorder report.

The unit includes private rooms, a private dining area with a flat-screen television, orthopedic massages and a hair salon. Larger rooms allow family members to stay in the hospital as well. The unit is also designed to promote physical therapy, with hallways marked off in 25 foot sections so patients can monitor their progress.
