Excelsior Orthopaedics partners with local hospital to provide orthopedic surgery services

Amherst, N.Y.-based Excelsior Orthopaedics established a partnership to provide orthopedic surgery services to Mount St. Mary’s Hospital in Lewiston, N.Y., according to Niagara Frontier Publications.

Four things to know:

1. Excelsior Orthopaedics surgeons Adam Burzynski, MD, and Matthew Mann, MD, will perform surgery at the hospital.

2. Dr. Burzynski specializes in sports medicine. After earning his medical degree from SUNY Upstate Medical University in Syracuse, Dr. Burzynski completed his residency at the University of Cincinnati Medical Center and underwent sports medicine fellowship training at the University at Buffalo (N.Y.).

3. Dr. Mann’s specialties include minimally invasive arthroscopic surgery as well as joint reconstruction and replacement. He earned his medical degree from and completed his residency at McGill University in Montreal, Canada.

4. Dr. Mann underwent fellowship training in knee and hip reconstruction at the University of British Columbia in Vancouver, Canada, as well as foot and ankle surgery fellowship training at Toronto (Canada) Western Hospital.
