Emory University Orthopaedics & Spine Hospital earns 2nd Magnet recognition

Emory University Orthopaedics & Spine Hospital in Tucker, Ga., received Magnet recognition for the second time in a row, the university said Aug. 26.

The credential comes from the American Nurses Credentialing Center and recognizes organizations for nursing care coordination and patient safety. Emory University Orthopaedics & Spine Hospital previously earned the honor in 2016.

“While this Magnet recognition focuses on the successes of our nurses, it also demonstrates the commitment of our entire team and the importance of collaboration and best practice across disciplines when caring for our patients,” CEO Matt Wain said.
