Spanning 29,000 square feet, the $15 million facility provides care to Falcons players as well as residents from the community.

The clinic also houses the Emory Sports Performance and Research Center, which will work to advance research around common sports medicine issues. The facility is equipped with several technologies for biomechanics, neuroscience, virtual reality and performance training.

“We don’t want people to think this is just for the Atlanta Falcons,” Scott Boden, MD, director of the Emory Orthopaedics & Spine Center, told Fox5 Atlanta. “In fact, the majority of patients here will not be Atlanta Falcons; they’ll be residents from the community.”
