The name change better reflects the communities the practice serves throughout the eastern region of North Carolina, Shawn Hocker, MD, president of EmergeOrtho Coastal Region, said in a June 16 news release.
The move comes on the heels of the practice naming Zachary Welch as its executive director in April.
