Mr. Middleton started April 19, according to a May 27 news release. He has more than 10 years of healthcare administration experience and previously worked at the University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson.

He received his bachelor’s degree in commerce and business administration from the University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa and earned an MBA and master’s of health administration from the University of Alabama at Birmingham.
