Drs. Daniel Aghion, Scott Raffa expand Florida spine practice

Neurosurgeons Daniel Aghion, MD, and Scott Raffa, MD, have extended their spine practice to Boca Raton, Fla., South Florida Hospital News reported Dec. 28.

The surgeons practice with the Memorial Neuroscience Institute, part of six-hospital Memorial Healthcare System in Hollywood, Fla.

Dr. Aghion specializes in the treatment of several spine disorders, including degenerative spine disease, spinal trauma and spinal tumors. He completed a complex spine fellowship at Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore before joining MHS in 2016.

Dr. Raffa specializes in minimally invasive techniques such as lateral retroperitoneal and endoscopic approaches to the spinal column. He joined MHS in 2019 after completing a neurosurgery fellowship at the University of Miami.
