Dr. Tim Micek joins MercyOne Clinton Medical Center

Tim Micek, MD, has joined MercyOne Clinton (Iowa) Medical Center, according to a Dec. 8 report from the Clinton Herald.

Dr. Micek has more than 19 years of experience in orthopedic surgery and previously worked at Olive Branch, Miss.-based Champion Orthopaedics, the report said. He also has experience at Alpharetta, Ga.-based Atlanta Orthopaedic Services and Georgetown, Ky.-based Summit Orthopaedics. He was the practice owner of Richmond, Ky.-based Cornerstone Orthopaedics for six years.

His expertise includes high school and college sports injuries, hip and knee replacements, and ACL injury repairs, the report said.

“We are very pleased to have a surgeon of Dr. Micek’s distinction join our provider team,” Ryan Grekoff, senior vice president of MercyOne Medical Group Clinton, said in the report. “We welcome him to MercyOne Clinton and the Clinton community.”
