Dr. Steve Yao Joins Hope Orthopedics in Oregon

Steve Yao, MD, an orthopedic surgeon with a special interest in sports medicine, recently joined Hope Orthopedics in Salem, Ore.

Dr. Yao previously practiced with Northwest Kaiser Permanente in Salem. Dr. Yao earned his medical degree from the Rush University Medical College in Chicago and completed his residency in orthopedic surgery at Medical College of Wisconsin in Madison. His additional training includes a sports medicine fellowship at Lake Tahoe Orthopaedic Institute.

His additional experience includes three years in the U.S. Air Force Medical Corp., where he spent time serving in Japan.
