Quoting an email conversation he had with Carlos Del Rio, MD, professor and dean of Emory University School of Medicine in Atlanta, Dr. Gupta revealed the confirmed tests among Emory physicians.
Physicians often rotate between Emory University Hospital and Grady Hospital and there are concerns about several medical students and healthcare workers being exposed to the novel coronavirus.
At least 20 more positive tests are expected March 18, according to Dr. Gupta’s CNN report.
