Dr. Philip Mulieri Joins Danbury Orthopedics

Philip Mulieri, MD, an orthopedic surgeon with a professional interest in shoulder and elbow surgery, recently joined Danbury (Conn.) Orthopedics, according to a report from The Ridgefield Press.

Dr. Mulieri performs minimally invasive arthroscopic surgery, complex reconstructive procedures and shoulder and elbow replacement, according to the report. He earned his medical degree at Mount Sinai School of Medicine in New York City and completed his residency training at Tufts Medical Center in Boston. His additional training includes a fellowship in shoulder and elbow surgery at Florida Orthopedic Institute in Tampa.

He previously served as a visiting professor at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minn.
