The hospital recently completed a $30 million expansion, and hiring Dr. Mudano was part of its plan to expand orthopedics services. He is the first full-time orthopedic surgeon on staff at the hospital. Dr. Mudano previously practiced with Southeastern Orthopedics in Milledgeville, Ga.
Dr. Mudano earned his medical degree at Medical College of Georgia in Augusta, where he also completed his residency and fellowship in knee surgery and sports medicine.
