Q: What are the core tenets for successful business management in healthcare?
Dr. Kris Parchuri: My three concepts for a successful business include:
1. Finding the right employees, managing their responsibilities and rewarding their effort.
2. Adapting to customer’s desires and needs, and understanding your competition.
3. Marketing in a diverse way, that is social media, SEO, direct to consumer, etcetera.
Q: What is the biggest healthcare or spine-focused trend to keep your eye on in 2019?
KP: 3D-printed hardware guides based on preoperative CT scans to allow instrumentation with little to no radiation.
