Dr. Drew Ratner to open independent orthopedic practice

Drew Ratner, MD, plans to open his new practice, American Orthopedics on Oct. 14, he said in a LinkedIn post.

It will be one of the only independent orthopedic practice in Greenville, S.C., his Oct. 1 post said. Dr. Ratner said in his post that he wants the practice to stand out amid the hospital-led specialty care in the region.

“I think that this will hopefully be the beginning of a return to a robust independent/private practice healthcare marketplace in Greenville,” Dr. Ratner said in his post.

Dr. Ratner earned his medical degree at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences in Lubbock, and he completed his residency at Prisma Health in Greenville.
