Dr. Cyrus Ghavam joins Hope Orthopedics of Oregon: 5 notes

Salem-based Hope Orthopedics of Oregon welcomed Cyrus Ghavam, MD, to the team.

1. Equipped with 23-plus years of practice, Dr. Ghavam specializes in low back pain, neck pain, disc herniation, spinal stenosis, strain and whiplash, on-the-job injuries and degenerative conditions.

2. He completed his orthopedic surgery residency at University of Alabama Birmingham, and his spine surgery fellowship at Charlotte Spine Center.

3. Dr. Ghavam is a fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons.

4. He has two spinal implant patents and is pursing one in nanotechnology.

5. Dr. Ghavam is also a flight surgeon in the U.S. Air Force.
