Dr. Bram Newman 1 of 16 new physicians at Maine Medical Partners

Portland-based Maine Medical Partners announced a slew of new hires in November, including Bram Newman, MD, a physical medicine and rehabilitation specialist with a focus on spine and neurosurgery, according to Portland Press Herald.

Four things to know:

1. Maine Medical Partners is a department of Maine Medical Center, which is part of MaineHealth.

2. Dr. Newman’s clinical interests include general neurological and musculoskeletal rehabilitation, sports concussion management, and adaptive sports and active aging populations. 

3. He is one of 16 physicians that recently joined Maine Medical Partners.

4. Maine Medical Center is developing a $59 million center featuring spine and neurosurgery, which is expected to be open in 2021.
