Did Physicians’ Satisfaction With Salary Improve After Employment? 3 Statistics

Most physicians agree that their satisfaction with their salary improved after switching from self-employed to employment in an organization, according to Medscape’s Employed Doctors Report 2014.

The report includes responses from 4,600 physicians.

 

When asked if their satisfaction with their income improved after shifting to employment, respondents reported:

 

•    Improved — 46 percent
•    Stayed the same — 27 percent
•    Worsened — 26 percent
