Delaware orthopedic practice consolidates services, opens new location

As part of its partnership with Newark, Del.-based First State Orthopaedics, Orthopaedic Associates of Southern Delaware recently opened a facility in Lewes, Del., reports the Cape Gazette.

Four things to know:

1. The Lewes, Del.-based group consolidated its nine offices in the region to the new location.

2. The facility features MRI technology, X-ray machines and provides space for three to five patients for each of the nine physicians practicing there.

3. John Spieker, MD, founded OASD in 1990 and retired in 2018.

4. Gita Pillai, MD, serves as president of the practice.
