Marina Orthopedic & Spine Institute is an independent ASC that is known for minimally invasive spine and joint procedures, according to an April 26 news release from Commons Clinic. The investment from Commons Clinic will expand its ASC network and grow its capabilities.

Commons Clinic also launched Theater, a full-stack platform to help specialty ASCs scale and automate pathways between facilities. It is also designed to help accelerate the migration of orthopedics to ambulatory-first care.

At the Becker’s 32nd Annual Meeting: The Business and Operations of ASCs, taking place October 29-31 in Chicago, ASC leaders, surgeons and healthcare executives will explore strategies to drive growth, enhance operational performance, navigate reimbursement challenges and prepare for the future of ambulatory surgery.
