Colorado hospital expands orthopedic services, seeks new surgeon

Middle Park Health in Granby, Colo., has partnered with Vail-Summit Orthopaedics and Neurosurgery to expand orthopedic services, according to an Oct. 20 Ski-Hi News report.

Four things to know:

1. Physicians from Vail-Summit Orthopaedics and Neurosurgery will provide specialty services at the hospital.

2. Middle Park Health plans to hire an orthopedic surgeon who will live and work in the area full-time.

3. The hospital currently has three orthopedic physicians — Adam Wilson, MD, Alexander Meininger, MD, and Patrick Johnston, DO — who are affiliated with Steamboat Orthopaedic & Spine Institute in Steamboat Springs Colo., a 10-physician multispecialty practice including spine, sports medicine and total joint replacement.

4. SOSI is expanding its Grand County presence and developing a new clinic closer to the Winter Park ski resort to better serve its active population.
